Bret has over 23 year experience in the vessel preparation and cargo space cleaning industry. His Maritime influence started at an early age as he has several immediate family members established in the local marine community. Bret has held several key positions from laborer to supervisor with several well respected marine firms including ship, barge, and offshore experiences. During the BP Deep Water Horizon incident , Bret was appointed as project manager for a local regions " Vessel of Opportunity" program during this complex and wide ranging oil spill clean up coordination. bcrouchet@amsnola.com
In 1993, Tommy started his shipping/maritime career on the Mississippi River. He has worked in many different capacities in the Maritime industry, starting his career working as a Marine Transportation driver, and mooring deckhand for Cooper T Smith and Blue Marine. In 1993, Tommy started his shipping/maritime career on the Mississippi River. He has worked in many different capacities in the Maritime industry, starting his career working as a Marine Transportation driver, and mooring deckhand for Cooper T Smith and Blue Marine. He then joined Riomar – Jomaris his first Shipping Agency in 1996 as an apprentice boarding agent. In early 1998 he joined Biehl & Co, and really began to foster a career. He held many management positions at Biehl, such as Vessel Manager, Port Manager, Team Leader, Vice President of Operation – East Coast, Executive Vice President. He has managed offices throughout every US Gulf port, and East Coast ports. Tommy has been actively involved in Maritime Associations and Trade Associations. He has held Chairman, President, and Executive Board positions with NOSSA, GSMA, LAMA, MVTTC, Maritime Association of South Carolina, and Agency Affairs Committee Member for ASBA . He resides in Hammond, Louisiana with his wife Tanya, and his 3 sons Tyler, Taylor, and Trystian. He has always been active volunteer in both youth sports and other community associations.
